PRESS: GV Gold in talks with Renova to acquire Zoloto Kamchatki

MOSCOW, Sep 28 (PRIME) -- Russian gold producer GV Gold is negotiating acquisition of Zoloto Kamchatki from multi-industry holding Renova Group of businessman Viktor Vekselberg, Kommersant business daily reported on Thursday citing four sources.

Some sources said that the deal may be announced soon. Another source said that GV Gold is exploring various M&A options and Zoloto Kamchatki is among six gold companies under consideration, including Lenzoloto, part of Polyus.

GV Gold CEO German Pikhoya declined to “comment on rumors.” Polyus declined to comment as well.
